This week during Tea With Me the school council met with Mrs Leeson. They shared with us the following information about what was discussed:

• We discussed the impact of school council this year and we all feel that we are making a difference.
• We talked about how class council was important. We also discussed why we thought school council was important. We said that  it was important that children made decisions which affect school and that sometimes adults don’t always know what children want.
• We then talked about what we would change about the school . We suggested that team time could be better and how this could be improved for children who didn’t want to go outside Eg: games in the hall, using ICT equipment etc.

Sounds like it was a busy meeting and lots of great things were discussed.  Don’t forget that you can speak to school council members any time.

We are enjoying getting used to our new teacher and classroom, we hope you are too. Next week we will be asking some teachers some questions that you would really like to know. Have a really big think and let us know your questions!
